Terms of service
Plain terms for using findJob, written to be read rather than survived.
Using the site
You need an account to apply for a job or post one. You are responsible for what happens under your account, so keep your password to yourself.
You must be old enough to work legally in Malaysia to hold a candidate account.
For employers
Post only real, current vacancies. A listing must state the actual role, location and pay range; a salary field left blank is acceptable, a misleading one is not.
Do not ask candidates for money, for identity documents before an interview, or for one-time codes. Any of these will get the posting removed and the account suspended.
Verification is not an endorsement of your business. It confirms we saw an SSM record matching the details you gave.
For candidates
Apply only on your own behalf. Do not submit someone else's resume.
You own your resume. We store it and show it to employers you apply to, and we do not sell it.
If a posting asks you for money, report it. Reports are read by a person.
Content we remove
We remove postings that are fraudulent, discriminatory, or that ask for payment. We also remove content that is unlawful under Malaysian law.
Where a posting is removed, the employer is told why and may correct and resubmit it. A suspension is different: it means the account itself is the problem.
Changes
We may update these terms. Material changes will be announced in the product, not only in this page's revision date.
