About findJob
findJob is a job board for Malaysia. Every state and federal territory, three languages, and a check on whether the employer actually exists.
Why we check employers
Job scams in Malaysia usually follow the same shape: a posting that pays far too well, an employer who cannot show a company registration, and a request for a deposit before an interview.
We require employers to submit their SSM registration number and certificate before they get a verified badge. Verification is done by a person reading the SSM record, not by an automated check, because a registration number can be copied from a real company just as easily as invented.
Unverified employers can still post, but candidates can see the difference. We would rather show you who has been checked than quietly rank everyone the same.
Three languages, one listing
You can read the interface in Chinese, English or Malay, and your choice is kept in the address, so a link you share opens in the language you were reading.
The listing itself is written in whichever language the employer chose. A Malay advert stays in Malay — translating it would put words in the employer's mouth.
What it costs
Nothing, for now. Candidates never pay, and employers are not charged during this phase.
If that changes, existing listings will not be retroactively charged and we will say so plainly rather than burying it in a policy update.
